We have played an important role in the development of Zoetis' online learning environment: The Learning Zone. Over a period of 7 years, we have collectively put online learning on the map within Zoetis. During this collaboration, we have elevated our knowledge, persuasive skills, and wanderlust to a higher level.

The purpose

Within the organization, knowledge and innovation are important themes. The use of an online learning platform facilitates the transfer of that knowledge. The challenge also lies in the user-friendliness of the features, maintenance, and promoting e-learning.

What we delivered

During this years-long collaboration, we provided various services.

Functionalities: 
We provided advice on the use of functionalities. We developed functionalities for different purposes and target groups. Sometimes, and interactive module worked, while other times it was important to convey specific knowledge in the form of an explainer.

Training material development:
Here are some examples of training materials we developed:

  • Customer contact training
  • Introduction modules for new products (multilingual)
  • Software simulations
  • Course information pages
  • Report generation and formatting
  • Online request form for course adjustments

Providing support for issue resolution:
Where technology is employed, maintenance is necessary. This is also the case with e-learning. Users may encounter technical bugs, and information can become outdated over time. In such cases, support is required to update it. We provided support for various issues that arose.

Promotion:
A learning environment serves no purpose without users. Therefore, we also assisted Zoetis in internally promoting ‘The Learning Zone’. To achieve this, we created various videos, infographics, posters, and training materials to convey the importance, place, and content of the learning environment.

The result

We can view the result of the collaboration from various perspectives. When it comes to the fun factor, we mainly look back on a educational journey with the customer. And you certainly get to see some places.

European Capitals:
We were present in Dublin, Paris, Berlin, Brussels, and Rome to put online learning on the map, share tips and tricks, and tell people that online learning is a lot of fun.

Scotland
We traveled to a veterinarian in Scotland to shoot footage for a customer contact training.

Paris
We were in Paris at the e-learning expo to choose the development tool for Zoetis. We created various e-learning modules on diverse topics in different languages and rolled them out for over 11,000 employees in 45 countries.

Family
Over these seven years we have achieved a lot together with our L&D colleagues at Zoetis. We have met fantastic professionals and amazing individuals. Having a beer in an Irish pub or dining in Rome with the team illustrates how close the Zoetis family is.
